*A newly enrolled student at the university is defined as an individual who has been officially admitted and has completed the enrollment process for their admitted term of study. This includes registering for courses. A student maintains their 'newly enrolled' status if they begin classes in the term they were admitted and sit out no more than one regular term (fall or spring), excluding summer. If more than one regular term is missed, the student may be required to reapply for admission.
